Not long ago, I visited this little cafe located at first floor of a shop lot in Damansara Uptown, with my dearest SumSumgirl.

It was a rainy evening, perfect weather to be seated outdoor. 

It was overall very pleasant visit, we enjoyed our time, reminiscing those good old times during high school.

Note that there are bags hanging by the side of your tables, you will find cutlery set in the pencil box. How creative is that?

Jennifer's Sweet 25th at Hanz Harvest & Cafe @ Damansara Jaya SS22

Counting down to our first public holiday after Chinese New Year in our first year of entering work force,

we were celebrating Jen's birthday.

We brought little presents, while Jen' was bringing each of us a rose.

Hanz Harvest & Cafe is my recent favorite, it's nearby, it's cozy, the food and drinks are worth the value and not over-charged.

 

 

Visible effort seen in furnishing and decorating the cafe, with the details and all it takes is this one cup of coffee to keep me in.

They sell fruits, including banana, apples, kiwi, oranges, etc
depends on availability.

The signature dish will be Rose-a-mary Chicken, I later tried the apple sauce version of it and am keep coming back for more.

I've brought few of friends there so far. Everyone has been happy with it so far. 

Buttermilk Chicken Rice @ RM10

Crispy chicken pieces, tangy mild spicy buttermilk sauce and the running yolk, lovely! 

Jennifer ordered Salmon with Lemon Cream @ RM19.90
The amount of fish is generous and it's fresh. 

WengYan had this Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice @ RM10
Malaysian Chinese all time favorite that was done well as well! 

Jennifer treated us with this Escargot,
which is served with garlic bread and side salad.
It's very good for a first timer in eating escargot like me.

For desserts, they also sell this homemade cheesecake.

The waiter was very friendly and helpful, when I said I wanna present the cake for a birthday girl, he had this brought to our table, simply beautiful and wonderful.

A date with Melody @Salon du Chocolat, Publika

Code blue code blue, respiratory arrest at Ara Court Badminton Court.

...I am currently watching the Badminton Competition hosted by the Physiotherapy Services for the Healthy Lifestyle Campaign.

Having letting out the slot for other staff plus we are attending a dinner symposium later, I'm sweating in my dress while waiting in the court.

It's semi final now, ending soon. I thought I will just make use of the time to blog.

Met Melody personally in Ikea for the first time, we walked around e Curve too, then came across this shop that sells chocolate crepe. She reassured me that I will not be able to finish the crepe as even the dark chocolate is way too sweet.

She then promised to bring me to Publika.

After having dinner, we then visited Salon du Chocolat for this:-

Dark chocolate crepe ♥.♥

The dark chocolate was smooth, not too sweet, good mouthfeel;

the crepe had good texture that made me feel warm and hormy.

I'll give it a 9/10 ★ 

The remain 1 mark I'll keep until I find a place that serve real aromatic dark chocolate crepe ;)

Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf @ Tropicana City Mall

Hey there, Jennifer and WengYan!

We are finally  meeting up again. This is our first meet up in group like this since graduating from university. Time flies, we gather again as we are now nearby each other again, in Petaling Jaya.

Thanks life, for bringing us together again.

Tropicana City Mall is a very convenient place for us, since Jennifer doesn't drive and she works right there.

Hence, we can just meet up when she finishes.

We went to Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf, which located at the corner lot in the mall. It's a theme restaurant with the idea of serving "Three Little Pigs" menu in the morning, till 6pm specifically, then "The Big Bad Wolf" menu at night.

Onion Rings served with sour cream

It's crunchy on the outside, yummylicious on the inside, everything you want from onion rings! 

Pork burger served with fries and salad

The pork patty was generously thick, juicy and flavourful. Love it! 

Pesto pasta with pork chunks

I enjoy this much as well, I'm definitely going back for this!

Mocha

 We ordered also Mocha due to my crave for coffee. It was not bad from a restaurant, comparable to the one you can find in coffee shop. I'll give it a thumb up.

In all, we enjoy the "The Big Bad Wolf" meal that night!

Let's try the signature dish next time, shall we?
