Dream Cafe with French Windows

Gosh, CMCO again. Day 2.
No big deal right? It's just more than 500 new cases per day... God bless my family and friends, may we get through this unharmed.

Life is good. I was awarded the Best Role Player at Toastmasters Meeting yesterday, being a first-time Table Topic Master, it's a big deal, isn't it?
So much celebrations have been pushed back due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I have also refused myself much more things I enjoy, so to save up for my dream. To put the advice I have given to a Table Topic Participant yesterday, I want to dream a bigger dream. On top of that, to really figure out the details of this dream, specify it, make it vivid in my mind.

I want to run a Bakery Cafe at one of those residential houses next to Damansara Uptown commercial area. Apparently it's around RM1.2mil for one of those in SS2. DU shouldn't be that much of a difference, right? So okay, that location, that setting.
The building will white in colour, the general tone. There should be some outdoor seats, let me picture it... wait, hold. Let's talk about the exterior first. There has got to be a number of tall and wide window, ah it's called French windows. Lovely name, ain't it. I just finished "Emily in Paris", lovely scenery, so much fashion and love stories. So exciting. Oh and so much cafes and coffee scene!
So those are called French windows... Seen one lately at Breakfast Thieves APW. So beautiful... it's absolutely a highlight of the building design, interior and exterior.

So, okay, at least 1 of those nice French windows. I don't mind or might even love a simple design French window, guess it should just blend in with other parts of the cafe. There is this cafe in "Emily in Paris", they are seated in this nice outdoor table, the table and chairs sets are lovely. Not sure how comfortable can that be... but it's white grill, with those curvy ends. That should cost a bunch...
Those are perfect for outdoors though.

Well, Malaysia is usually hot or raining. Having too many outdoor seats seem like a bad idea. That's it for today... I'm really not in a great mood. Let me "construct" this little dream cafe stage-by-stage.

So long.

MCO Covid-19

Dear Diary,

It's Movement Control Order Day 18 (I think). I'm starting to lose the sense of week day and weekend, date and time. And I've just woke up from a 2-hour afternoon nap... Not sure if you can still define it as nap though.

This is definitely the time to feel more, considering I have my appetite satisfied every day, every meal; knowing the fact that I'm privileged and lucky. As some news these days suggested, when we have our appetite fulfilled but are forced into isolation, we human tend to think too much too. I'm so glad to be in my current situation, where an introvert like myself, can enjoy another's company, while being fully respected and fully embraced when I needed time to myself, in this 900sqft space.

So much has changed since my last blog post, which happens to be the only post from year 2019. I did think of my blog sometimes, however I found myself having less expressive thoughts. It's like I stop having things to write, to type, to express.

Gosh, I guess it is time to eat again. So long my diary, let's do this again tomorrow.

Praying hard for my Dive Plan in May to happen!

Yours Truly

Hello my sweet life, it's another chapter in life again soon.
Writing in to remember this moment of spontaneity, gratefulness and gathering my small bits of courage.

It's few days of chilling time in conjunction with my birthday. (Don't you just love how things just work its way well eventually?)

I know 2014 was only less than four years ago, it sure feels like it's been a long time for so much has changed. I've got my hair chopped down to boyish length, now trying to grow it back again; I've moved from job to another, each one a different experience; I've gone from giving up on academic and research, to starting a part time Master course, estimate to finish by 30 years old; I've gone from zero dating experience to totally fine being single and enjoying it; I've finally gone back to diving and will be back to regular swimming now that I'm finally a member of the neighbourhood club house again (thank goodness! and thanks brother *heart*); I've grown from relying on one friend, to releasing myself from stubbornness and embracing more like-minded confidants...

One heartbreak to another...
One cheery moment to another...
One teary moment to another...
One joy of love to another...
One unwanted thought to another one that's been embraced and accepted.
Maybe nobody's changed, we are only gradually uncovering our true selves, or discovering or moulding it to what's supposed to be.

Well, nothing will ever be more important than finally truly embracing my own family and to love them wholeheartedly.

Bye Bye Semester 4, Hello Semester Break!

We are finally done with Semester 4!!!
Just gonna wait for the sentence day which is the next Friday.
I'm expecting a moderate to good results, hopefully I won't end up crying due to disappointment lah!!

These are all my notes and practical manuals for this semester in one big file!
Nice thing about printing the notes in just the right size, though considered small by most of my colleagues, I get to squeeze all notes for 9 subjects in just one file!

Left the exam hall after only 1 hour and 15 minutes for a 2 1/2 hour exam.
Well, mostly recall questions, the last paper is not tough. :D
Unlike Community Nutrition and Nutritional Immunology.... T^T

Me, WengYan and Janet went to JoJo Ban Mee again after the exam.
Tried the dry ban mee but I still prefer soup :P
Oh, we're given research topics right after the exam!!
Quite nervous about the research project... Hope I'll be doing fine :)

I got home at around 2pm then, ate the Caesar Salad in the fridge then later made 6 more, haha!!

Remember my semester break after semester 2, I had a foot injury, taken all my quality times, screwed up the opportunities in the Dandelion concert.
Then semester break after semester 3, there's no time for myself cause it's all about my brother's vegetarian restaurant. Screwed up my skin health too, terrible, horrible and my finger tips are still hurting.

This semester break, I'm gonna spend some quality time. Gonna have a trip to Melaka with some awesome friends, gonna practice my piano, gonna enjoy PC game (:P), gonna go swimming frequently, gonna hang out with friends and get myself used to my new part time job!
Gonna be careful this time, no more injury please :P

appreciate life,
